Damian Lillard, Bucks moving on without Beauchamp after deadline
Beauchamp spent two-plus seasons with the Bucks before being sent to the Los Angeles Clippers before the 2025 NBA trade deadline in exchange for Kevin Porter Jr.
Selected 24th overall in the first round of the 2022 NBA draft by the Bucks, Beauchamp could have a sense of an imminent trade when Milwaukee decided to decline its option on him for the 2025-26 NBA season worth $4.78 million. Porter, on the other hand, has a player option worth $2.54 million for the 2025-26 NBA campaign.
Beauchamp did not blossom into a regular-starter quality guy in Milwaukee. His minutes with the Bucks dropped gradually each season. After averaging 3.5 minutes per game in the 2023-24 campaign, Beauchamp only saw action for the Bucks this season 4.7 minutes per outing.
Overall, he played in 126 games for Milwaukee, averaging 4.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.6 assists while shooting 42.8 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from behind the arc.
