Jackson Chouriou is having a great spring training for the Milwaukee Brewers but it is totally different for Logan Henderson on Monday when the team lost to the San Diego Padres, 14-8.

Henderson, projected to become part of the rotation this season, gave up four runs, one of which lead to a Yuli Gurriel home run.
Manager Pat Murphy said it is acceptable that Henderson allowed that to happen but he believes that the young pitcher is better than the performance he showed that day.
“It’s not acceptable. You can’t walk four guys in three innings,” Murphy said after the game.

“I’m sure he was nervous. It’s his first full big-league start. That’s unacceptable, to walk four people. That’s not who he is. He’s got to be better than that. That’s not the type of pitcher he can be.”
Henderson, 22, was drafted 15th in the fourth round of the 2021 MLB Draft.
He has been working his way up since then. However, his effort was derailed by injuries, preventing him from participating in games.
Logan Henderson projected for big things
Henderson might really just be nervous as some analyst see him as one of the top prospects for the Brewers.
A year ago, he was projected to be inside the Top 100 prospects by MLB Draft. Twelve months have passed and it is time for him to prove himself.
The Brewers’ pitching department has taken some hits ahead of the opening day and he should take advantage of this opportunity.

According to MLB Brewers writer Adam McCalvy, he is expected to be among the starting pitchers for the team in the opening week.
Logan Henderson, answer the white courtesy phone. @MLBPipeline’s No. 13 Brewers prospect is now a leading contender to make April stats while Myers, Ashby, Hall, Woodruff and Gasser are on the IL. Henderson was optioned out of MLB camp but starts tomorrow at Mariners.
