Aaron Rodgers’ return to the New York Jets just got a huge update, and it was from the man himself. Rodgers went down in the very first offensive series of 2023 with a completely torn Achilles Tendon. Many considered his season to be over and to start looking to 2024.
Rodgers has been extremely vocal that he will defy the assumed timeline.
The New York Jets Gets A Guarantee That Aaron Rodgers Will Return To The Field In 2023

Rodgers told NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark that he plans on returning to the Jets in 2023:
“His plan is to rejoin the team permanently after their Week 7 bye. And he told me his goal is to play again this season,” Stark said at the beginning of the broadcast, before the Jets lost 23-20 to the Chiefs at MetLife Stadium.
The New York Post elaborated on what the four-time MVP quarterback has next:
Rodgers told Stark that he was planning to fly back to California this week to have stitches removed and continue his aggressive rehab, which includes work for over five hours a day.
The Jets quarterback had been photographed last week for the first time following the surgery out in Los Angeles.

If the Jets can salvage their season they could be right back into playoff conversation if Aaron Rodgers is able to come back. The Jets traded for Rodgers because they believed they were one quarterback away from a Super Bowl caliber team. Their worst nightmare came true during the Jets fourth offensive play.
The Jets put up an impressive performance on Sunday Night Football. Even though they ended up losing the game 23-20, many were impressed with how well the Jets hung with the Kansas City Chiefs. Could this loss be the start of something special in New York?

Why jets will be out of playoff chase in that division by then? This has no sense.
