Giannis Antetokounmpo Has Another Historic Night
This is the sixth time this season that Giannis has eclipsed 45 points and 10 rebounds in a game. The only other player to do this more in a single season was Russell Westbrook (7) in the 2016-17 season when he averaged a triple-double. It is worth noting that Westbrook did win the MVP that season. Giannis has been putting up monster numbers all season and it has propelled the Bucks to one of the best records in the NBA.

Rounding Into Form
Last night’s win was a really good one and showed why this Bucks team can be so dangerous. The Kings boast the best offense in the league. For most of the game, it was back and forth with each team trading baskets. Then the Bucks put the clamps down on defense. The last five minutes of the game saw the Bucks shut down the Kings’ offense and in turn continue the scoring. In today’s NBA, it is impossible to completely shut down an offense for four quarters. It is all about being able to shut down an offense in spurts which the Bucks are able to do.
Of all of the teams in the NBA right now, the Bucks are looking the most complete. A big part of that is Giannis Antetokounmpo. If he keeps these types of stat lines up, the Bucks are going to be tough to knock out in the playoffs.
