The Milwaukee Bucks have the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft and the Miami Hurricanes will have an interesting prospect or two in this class. Milwaukee’s other pick in this year’s class will be 33rd overall in the second round.
The Bucks will have a ton of options regarding what to do with those picks. It would be wise for general manager Jon Horst to keep those selections. Milwaukee will have several pending free agents on the roster and they most likely won’t bring most of them back.

For 2024-2025 and beyond, they need to get younger and build around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Trades could also be on the table for draft day or maybe Horst will save them for another time.
SB Nation Has the Milwaukee Bucks Selecting Miami Hurricanes Forward Kyshawn George With the 23rd Overall Pick In Its Latest NBA Mock Draft

Ricky O’Donnell of SB Nation updated his NBA Mock Draft. The NBA Draft will take place next week. With the Milwaukee Bucks’ 23rd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, he has them selecting Miami Hurricanes forward Kyshawn George.
O’Donnell said about Milwaukee making this selection:
“George measured at 6’7 barefoot with a 6’10.5 wingspan, and made 40.8 percent of his threes as a freshman for Miami. He moves well enough to have some defensive potential, and he knows who he is as a player: 68.4 percent of George’s field goal attempts were from three-point range. Milwaukee would probably prefer a more “NBA ready” player, but this feels like the right range for George and a decent landing spot.”
A season ago with the Hurricanes, he played in 31 games. George only averaged 7.6 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 2.2 APG, 0.4 BPG, and 0.9 SPG. Kyshawn George only played one season in college and it would be a risky pick for the Milwaukee Bucks.

He has a lot of growing and developing to do. The Bucks might need a more polished player with the 23rd pick. Kyshawn George could go as high as the 15th overall pick to the Miami Heat. That would be a massive reach for Miami, but there are a lot of unknowns in the 2024 NBA Draft. It would be a big swing for Milwaukee if they were to go with Kyshawn George from the Miami Hurricanes 23rd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft.
