In an exclusive interview with Wisconsin Sports Heroics, Wisconsin football target Tomarion Steward spoke on his college recruitment.
Steward, a 2026 running back from Michigan, has been in contact with big programs such as Purdue, Michigan State, and the Wisconsin football program. The running back currently holds three scholarship offers, but it still waiting on a “dream” offer from the Wisconsin football staff. During the recent interview, Steward talked to Wisconsin Sports Heroics about his recruiting experience thus far.
Wisconsin Football Target Tomarion Steward Reveals Dream Offers, Current Schools In Contact
While the Wisconsin football staff begins to search for recruits within the 2026 class, one running back has been added to their list. Michigan native running back Tomarion Steward has been in contact with the Wisconsin football staff since the opening of the 2026 recruiting period days ago.
Steward provided Wisconsin Sports Heroics with a full list of schools he has been in contact with recently which is provided below:
The running back stated that his recruitment has been “good so far” but also expects it to ramp up in the near future. When asked about who the running back would want to continue to speak with the most, Steward stated, “I would be happy to continue to play anywhere, but if I had a dream offer it would be Michigan or Wisconsin.”
Steward elaborated on his answer and stated, “Both have a good program for running backs.”
Tomarion Steward: “I Think What Sets Me Apart Is I Am Versatile”
For Steward, the recruit acknowledges that there are plenty of other running backs in the class, but none possess the same set of skills. Steward stated, “I think what sets me apart is I am versatile. I know when I need to use my speed and moves, but I also know when I have to use my power and strength.”
The running back grew up a massive fan of longtime NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, and likes to use the same aggressive running style. Steward stated, “I grew up watching him and he is the one where I learned my moves from.”
Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Keeping Close Eye On Dynamic Running Back
While the Wisconsin football staff has not offered a scholarship to Steward yet, they have initiated contact and hope to develop a close relationship. The recruitment of Steward has only just begun for the majority of programs, so there is still plenty of time left for Wisconsin to work with the running back. In the meantime, the recruit will be attending camps and meeting with different college staff members throughout the summer.
