The Wisconsin football staff has secured two notable official visits from top 2025 recruiting targets for the first week on June.
Both Mason Alexander and Eugene Hilton Jr have been primary recruiting targets for Wisconsin football in the 2025 recruiting class. However, Wisconsin had not been involved until recently, entering two recruiting battles from behind and still securing official visits. The Badgers staff is hopeful that they can make quite the impact during the upcoming official visits this Summer.
Wisconsin Football Secures Two Official Visits From Mason Alexander, Eugene Hilton Jr
After a successful meeting in the great state of Indiana, Wisconsin football made quite the impact on two of the top recruits in the state. The 2025 recruiting class is full of plenty of talent, but Wisconsin has been on the hunt for players who are willing to work hard, play physical, and play intelligently. The Badgers seem to have found just that in both Mason Alexander and Eugene Hilton Jr.
Hilton Jr is the son of a former NFL wide receiver, T.Y. Hilton, and has shown flashes of his father in his style of play. The three-star wide receiver has been a target of the Badgers for some time now, and likely could make Madison his new home. Alexander, on the other hand, is a recruit the Wisconsin football staff just recently came into contact with, but has loved thus far.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Could Make a Splash with Alexander Commitment
There is no doubt that landing the four-star corner back Mason Alexander could be a ‘splash’ in their 2025 recruiting class. Alexander has been a rising corner over the past few months and has seen his rating rise from three-stars to four-stars following a successful Junior season. The corner back had previously been considered to be a favorite to land with the Kentucky Wildcats, but the Badgers have since gained plenty of ground.
Alexander is a versatile, speedy corner back that can certainly find his way onto the field quickly given his natural talent and ability on the field. The defensive back has also been an instrumental leader for his defense, moving players around and calling out assignments for his defense. Wisconsin football would love to add the skill-set and mentality of Alexander to the team.
Could the Wisconsin Football Staff Regain Ground in the Hilton Jr Recruitment?
Wisconsin football had once been in the running for Hilton Jr, but soon fell out of the equation as the Missouri Tigers regained serious ground. After the Tigers began recruiting Hilton Jr, it was not long before they were able to secure a crystal ball prediction for the talented wide receiver. The Wisconsin football staff invited both Hilton Jr and Alexander to their campus for an unofficial visit, and after meeting Coach Fickell personally, both recruits seemed to have shifted their minds.
After meeting with Fickell, Hilton Jr locked in his official visit, which could be a sign that the Badgers are starting to take the lead in his recruitment.
