In a recent interview, a Wisconsin football prospect and Arrowhead safety Jack Tarkowski spoke about his recruitment experiences.
Tarkowski, a 2026 safety and athlete from Hartland, Wisconsin, has been on the radar of the Wisconsin Badgers football staff since the opening of the recruiting period. The safety has been a long time fan of the program, and would love the opportunity to play for the Badgers if it arises. During his recent interview, Tarkowski broke down his recruitment and spoke about what he would “love” to do.
Wisconsin Football Target Jack Tarkowski Dreams of Playing Badger Football One Day
Like many other Wisconsin native kids involved in football, Hartland native and Arrowhead student athlete Jack Tarkowski has been a fan of the Badgers since he can remember. Tarkowski stated, “I would be honored to receive an offer from any school that believes I fit with their program, although with growing up watching the Badgers I would love to stay home and play football for Wisconsin.”
Tarkowski tells Wisconsin Sports Heroics that he has been in contact with the Wisconsin football staff, North Dakota State, and Central Michigan over the past week.
Jack Tarkowski: “To Be a Badger I Still Have a Lot of Work to Do but There Is Always a Chance”
For Tarkowski, the results on the field have not been as plentiful as he would like, but the safety has shown excellent potential. Tarkowski is an emotional player and always works as hard as he can to win. The safety stated, “Since I was a little kid I have always been around sports and I always hated losing.”
The safety always wants to be the best, which is why he has begun to earn recognition for his skills from big programs. One such program has been the Wisconsin Badgers football program as the staff has been in contact with Tarkowski since the opening of the recruiting period. Tarkowski excelled at a recent Wisconsin football camp as well and caught the eye of the staff.
While Tarkowski would love to play for Wisconsin, he also admitted that he is not quite ready on the field to be a Badger. Tarkowski was quoted saying, “To become a Badger I still have a lot of work to do but there is always a chance and I am looking forward to this upcoming season with Arrowhead.”
Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Still In Early Stages of Recruitment
While Tarkowski would love to play Wisconsin football, he also acknowledges that there is still plenty of work to do before that chance arises. Tarkowski stated, “Our conversations are still in the early stages.”
The safety is only just getting to know the staff and understand what they will expect of him in order to become a Badger. After a few months of developing the relationship and on field success for Tarkowski, Wisconsin may very well extend an offer.
