Camren Hunter came to the Wisconsin Badgers with so much fanfare given the way he played for the University of Central Arkansas in the 2023-2024 season. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

The 6’2 guard is now taking his talent elsewhere in hopes of reviving his career.
Wisconsin junior guard Camren Hunter has entered the transfer portal, sources told Badger247.
A transfer from Central Arkansas, Hunter played in just 10 games during the 2024-25 season, averaging .3 points and .5 rebounds per contest. A transfer from Central Arkansas, Hunter missed the entire 2023-24 season due to injury. As a sophomore, Hunter was a third-team All-Atlantic Sun pick after averaging 16.9 points and 3.9 assists per game.
Hunter’s time with the Badgers was marred by injuries and illnesses. The most minutes he played in a game wearing the Wisconsin jersey was eight minutes against Detroit Mercy Titans in December where he only took one shot and had four rebounds.

His highest scoring game was three points against the Iowa Hawkeyes in January 3.

Playing time is what Hunter will hope to get in another school.
He might not get that much on the Badgers side as several players already took his spot.
Among them is Jack Janicki who had great performances at the tail end of the regular season.
