College recruiting site 247 Sports has Jack Kohnen as the fourth best player in Wisconsin and state’s top program Wisconsin Badgers got a closer look at him over the weekend.

Kohnen, a 6’5 small forward who plays for Slinger High School, has a 4-star composite ranking from the same website and ranked 94th overall. He currently has offers from Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Western Illinois Leathernecks, and Badgers state rivals Marquette Golden Eagles.
He is eligible for college by 2027.
Badgers Basketball’ 2027 recruitment is shaping up to be an exciting as they currently have expressed interest on five four-star recruits.

The other ones are three forwards Donovan Davis (who Kohnen got to play against), Dooney Johnson, and in-state prospect Kager Knueppel and guard Jalen Brown.

He also believe he did great.

“It was good,” he said in an interview with Nick Osen.
“We got two wins, we played two solid teams, teams that were sectional level teams last year. So that was good. There are always good teams here.
“Obviously, the Badgers are looking at some of them. I thought I played alright. Not shooting the best, but we got two wins, so hopefully we can win tomorrow.”
