Everything’s just going well for the Wisconsin Badgers basketball for next season. And the next one.

Badgers set their sight to 2027 and first name on their list is Donovan Davis, a four-star recruit from Kaukana.
The team made their offer to the 6’8 power forward on June last year and the kid only grows fonder of the program.
Talking to Badger Notes, the Class of 2027 standout said he has started building relationship with the team through assistant coach Sharif Chambliss.
“We have a pretty good relationship,” Davis shared. “They’ve had me come to a few games, and Coach Sharif came to one of mine, so it’s a pretty good relationship.”
“They’ve said they liked how I played, grown, and that I would be a good addition to their team,” he added.

Davis is expected to become one of the main guys for Wisconsin in future seasons. Just last month, the team sealed commitment from Jackson Ball from Australia.
Donovan Davis seeks improvement before Wisconsin Badgers debut
The Freedom high school stand out is young and he knows he can still improve. College basketball is going to be a lot harder and he is gearing up as early as now.
“I’m working on everything—especially making 3-pointers more consistent, other moves when I get the ball in the short corner, and more things just to make me a better player,” he said.

Davis is a legit scorer in high school. He can also be a defensive juggernaut.
In his sophomore year, he averaged 22.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.8 steals per game.
He won the NEC Player of the Year and D3 All-State honors in the same year.
