The Wisconsin Badgers faced the Michigan Wolverines in the BIG10 Championship Game before the NCAA Tournament selection show on Sunday. Wisconsin lost to Michigan 59-53.

This was the second straight season that the Badgers lost in the tournament final in the BIG10. They lost to the Illinois Fighting Illini last season in overtime. On Sunday, the Badgers found out who they would be playing in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Wisconsin Badgers Fans Not Happy With Game Time For Round 1 Of the NCAA Tournament

On Sunday, the brackets were finally released for the upcoming 2025 NCAA Tournament. It was announced that the Wisconsin Badgers are the number three seed in the East Region. They will be facing the 14-seed Montana Grizzlies in the first-round. The game will be played in Denver, Colorado. It will be played on Thursday and it will tip-off at 12:30 p.m. CT on TNT.
With Wisconsin playing four games in four days, in the BIG10 tournament, the Badgers fanbase feels like they are at a disadvantage with them playing on a Thursday. This is what some of the fans said about the time on Twitter:
The committee doing us no favors. Just gotta lock in and play ball. Let’s go Bucky

The Wisconsin Badgers will be heavy favorites against the Montana Grizzlies on Thursday in the NCAA Tournament. Even though they will be playing on Thursday and not Friday, they will still have a couple of days to reset before the big dance.
Face VCU Rams Or BYU Cougars In Second Round

If the Wisconsin Badgers were to win, they would face either the #11 seed VCU Rams or the #6 seed BYU Cougars in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. It would be hard to believe that Wisconsin would flame out in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this season.
The Badgers did not shoot well against the Wolverines on Sunday and almost won. As long as John Tonje and John Blackwell are themselves against Montana, they should be playing on Saturday against either VCU or BYU.
