The Wisconsin Badgers and quarterback Jarin Mock have parted ways. The 2026 QB has decommitted from their program.
Mock is ranked as the #39 QB in the class of 2026 by On3 and was committed to the Badgers since July 27th. This decommitment comes on the heels of Wisconsin firing offensive coordinator Phil Longo and hiring Jeff Grimes.
Everything going wrong for Wisconsin
Mock was their initial commit in the 2026 class. Wisconsin will move on to find a better fit within their new offensive system.
Wisconsin Badgers football are back in the news for all the wrong reasons. With QB coach, OC changes and now they released 2026 QB Jarin Mock from his commitment.
Wisconsin’s reputation and Mock moving on
Jarin Mock stated: “After a brief conversation with Wisconsin they are no longer honoring my commitment. With that being said, my recruitment is 100% open.”
The reputation of Wisconsin is pretty much in the gutter right now. It also does not help that the Xavier Lucas situation happened.
