The Wisconsin Badgers Basketball staff has offered a dominant 2025 forward from Indiana, who has made quite the name for himself already.

Trent Sisley of Lincoln City, Indiana, is a four-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class. Currently, Sisley ranks as the second-overall player in the state of Indiana and the eighth-overall power forward. Sisley is also ranked as the 50th player nationally in the class and holds 10 offers already.

The 6-foot-7-inch, 205-pound forward is a two-year varsity starter with more time to grow as a player. As a Freshman, Sisley averaged 19.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, along with 1.3 blocks and 1.1 steals. This past season as a sophomore, Sisley averaged 26.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.4 blocks per game during a stellar season.

At the level that Sisley plays at, most of his opponents struggle to cover the forward inside and out. Sisley uses an array of moves to score and rarely repeats a move during his games. The exceptional recruit is a comfortable scorer who shoots confidently, and once Sisley is on, it is hard to put his run to an end. This past season, Sisley scored with ease from the field and found success shooting from nearly anywhere on the court.

The talented forward has already greatly improved in just a year and expects to take another leap forward next season. Sisley can score at every level, with range being a specialty for him, given his incredible shot mechanics. The forward goes hard toward the rim to finish, and with a few more pounds in the coming years, Sisley could become a versatile interior scorer.

Does Trent Sisley Fit on the Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Team?

The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team has another player on their team that plays the same way as the four-star recruit. Connor Essegian, the rising Sophomore guard for the Wisconsin Badgers, scores with aggression and confidence on the court. Essegian is comfortable attacking the basket with a burst of speed, embracing contact, or stepping back and dropping a jump shot in front of the defense.

Trent Sisley is still developing as a player, but his combination of aggressive play and confident shot selection allows him to score easily. Sisley still has more time to develop his shot and learn areas on the court he shoots best from, which means his best offensive performances are still to come. Given his ability already as such a raw prospect, the future seems increasingly bright for Sisley.

For the Wisconsin Badgers Basketball staff, Sisley is still in the early stages of his recruitment and has not received the bulk of his offers yet. The talented recruit will likely take his time and conduct multiple visits before deciding which college program he will attend.
