Fun fact, the Bucks have not lost a single playoff series with its entire big three healthy.
That means since getting Jrue Holiday in 2020, the only two playoff series losses were the past two years of dealing with Giannis and Middleton’s injuries.
It is worth noting though, that we still can’t 100% bet on the idea that the team will be healthy this time around either, because injuries in sports are often unpredictable.
What we can say is, that the new rules against load management, definitely don’t help the odds at all.
What are the rules, and will it hurt the Bucks anymore than it will others?:
The new rules are pretty much just increasing the degree of punishment for teams that rest otherwise healthy, and ready-to-go starters, in regular season games.
The NBA’s competition committee recommended a plan that the league’s board of governors is expected to approve Wednesday. It would ultimately give the league office authority for greater oversight over discipline for missed games and an ability to fine teams over $1 million for each instance of violating resting rules, sources said.

That answers what the rule actually is, now to answer if this hurts the Bucks more than it does anybody else. The short answer is no, the longer answer is also no, but it doesn’t help either.
Clippers fans are the only ones who really need to worry about this, because beyond Kawhi and Paul George, most other contenders best players aren’t really known for load management all too often.
Jokic plays through it, Butler plays through it, Tatum is for the most part reliable, hell even before 2023 Giannis was mostly healthy come playoff time.
Outside of the Clippers, and maybe even their big brother in the LA Lakers, this shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
Don’t ring the alarm bells, just be happy this new ruling gives us more games to watch with our favorite superstars competing in them.
