Shailene Woodley recently spoke about why doesn’t want to talk about her split with Aaron Rodgers. The couple was once engaged and broke up in 2022, and according to the 33-year-old actress, she went through a “really awful, traumatic thing” when it happened back then.
“I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry,” Woodley explained during her interview with Outside Magazine. “It was not right. But it was beautiful.”
“I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy. I really understood depression and anxiety and complete soul detachment,” she added.
Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers sparked dating rumors in July 2020, but their relationship was kept under wraps for some time. Many learned about the couple only a few days before they announced their engagement in February 2021.
“2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing memorable moments, 180 days of having my nose hairs scraped and playing for very little fans the entire season. I got engaged. And I played some of the best football of my career,” Rodgers said during his NFL MVP acceptance speech in 2021.
