The Green Bay Packers’ season met its ending after they failed to get past the much-favored Philadelphia Eagles, 10-22.
It was a defensive affair between the two but Philly prevailed, no thanks to Packers’ listless offense in the second half.
It did no help, too, that Romeo Dubs got injured.
Jordan Love was not felt that much as he recorded just 20 of 33 completions for 212 yards with no touchdowns. He was also picked three times.
As in any cases, the reactions on the loss were mixed. Some thought the Packers underachieved this season after getting two playoff games last year while others believe the team is due for more exciting stuff after this loss.
NFL analyst Tyler Brooke said Packers fans should dwell more on the good stuff.
If Packers fans want to spend the whole offseason whining about Love, LaFleur, and Gute, be my guest.
But this is the youngest team in the NFL with back-to-back playoff appearances and a WHOLE lot of assets to build a LEGIT contender in 2025.
Me? I can’t WAIT for what’s next.
Others are being objective.
Packers writer Matt Schneidman thought the defense did great, crediting defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley for limiting Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. He is not convinced though when it comes to the game plan on offense.
Matt LaFleur receiving heat from Green Bay Packers fans
Was LaFleur outcoached? The Packers coach has been receiving criticism in the regular season for failing to come up with an effective game plan against elite teams.
The results were the same against the Eagles.
A Packers podcast account with 96,000 followers wrote:
LaFleur is a joke. Green Bay will never win more than a participation trophy as long as he’s in charge. He’s nothing more than a glorified coordinator

Zachary Jacobson of 247 sports felt the same.
The abandonment of play action, the lack of under-center concepts, horrific clock and game management these last few weeks. He’s a great coach and he’s proven that, but Matt LaFleur needs to undergo some serious self-scouting this offseason.
