NOTE: LISTEN TO MY PODCAST BEFORE YOU TRASH ME. #LongGame
It’s hard to fathom that after a 3-1 start, the Green Bay Packers are now 3-4. To make things worse, nothing looks “right” on offense, Aaron Rodgers is throwing everyone under the bus and now here comes the TOUGHEST part of the Packers schedule. There’s lots of blame to toss around and I make sure to discuss all of that on this week’s podcast but for me it starts with two guys: The Head Coach and the Quarterback. Rodgers says he’s “troubled” by his injured right thumb on “a couple throws”. To me, “a couple throws” give off STRONG “immunized” vibes. Not to over-simplify things but there are 3 general types of throws: Short, medium and long. I think Rodgers is very much bothered by the thumbs on the deep balls and intermediate routes. His accuracy and ball placement have FALLEN OFF THE MAP. You know what? It’s OK. But if Rodgers is able to get back to near 100% for a stretch run, why not punt the next 3 games & see if Jordan Love can get you 1 win. Was Rodgers gonna get you more?
Coaches have to coach better. Players have to play better.
