The New York Jets have had an absolute nightmare experience ever since the Packers traded them Aaron Rodgers. First Rodgers missed the entire 2023 campaign due to a torn Achilles, now they’re 3-8 through their first 11 games this season. To make matters worse, they don’t know if Rodgers will be in New York next season.
However, now there are whole new accusations that are becoming so well known, that New York’s head coach decided to speak out about it.
Former Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers Sees HC Jeff Ulbrich Make Extremely Controversial Statement About Him
One insider believes Aaron Rodgers has tried to hide his injuries from the team this season, preventing the team from learning the true extent of his ailments:
Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich appeared to shoot down those rumors on Monday.
Rodgers faces an uncertain future in New York after the team parted ways with its head coach and general manager in a matter of weeks, all while dropping to 3-8 and nearing playoff elimination. NFL.com insider Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday that Rodgers has been avoiding medical testing so the team doesn’t learn the full extent of his injuries.
“One source explained that Rodgers has resisted getting scans done, not wanting to reveal the severity of his injuries out of fear of having to come off the field. He has insisted that he keep playing,” Rapoport wrote.
Ulbrich was asked about the report on Monday, responding with a simple denial.
“News to me,” he said.
