The Green Bay Packers, as well as every other team in the NFL, knows that come season’s end health is one of the most important aspects. Injuries in the playoffs can derail an outstanding season. Two players that Green Bay missed nearly all of last season should be ready to go come 2025.

There’s reason for much optimism in Packerland, IMHO. A proven coach and GM, a very young roster that is already in the playoff mix, a good QB who shows signs of more promise. If Jordan Morgan and MarShawn Lloyd return to full health, it will be like adding two additional high draft picks to the 2025 draft talent.
Does the Pack expect both Morgan and Lloyd to be fully healthy for the beginning of training camp?
I believe so, yes.
In his rookie season, Morgan made only one start out of six appearances.
A premiere pick, Morgan was essentially a non-factor, leading to disappointment. The situation isn’t hopeless, however. In a recent article, Pro Football Focus identified early breakout candidates for each team in 2025, and Morgan’s name was included on the Packers’ list.
Third-round pick Lloyd played in one game this season (against the Indianapolis Colts) due to hip, ankle and hamstring injuries, plus an emergency appendectomy.
According to LaFleur, the Packers are still excited about Lloyd’s explosiveness and potential in the passing game despite his nightmare first season.
“You could see his explosiveness on tape. He would definitely add a dynamic to that room and that position,” LaFleur said. “Any time you can create matchup problems in the passing game, that’s huge for you. He’s got a lot of explosive ability.”
