The Green Bay Packers are preparing to play the San Francisco 49ers for their Week 12 matchup this weekend. At 7-3, Green Bay is looking to keep pace with the Detroit Lions (9-1) and the Minnesota Vikings (8-2) in the NFC North. San Francisco, meanwhile, is one of three 5-5 teams in the NFC West that trail the first place Arizona Cardinals, who are 6-4.
The Packers, fortunately, do not have a long injury report after their Week 11 nail-biter victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Jaire Alexander, who exited the game with his nagging knee injury, was the only player who did not practice on Wednesday (other than Marshawn Lloyd, who was just placed on the NFI).
The 49ers, on the other hand, have a plethora of star players that are dealing with injuries that could impact whether or not they play when San Francisco visits Green Bay. Pro Bowl quarterback Brock Purdy, for example, is dealing with a shoulder injury and is considered day-today. All-Pro pass rusher Nick Bosa has an oblique injury and is currently listed as questionable.

San Francisco 49ers Tight End George Kittle Cannot Wait to Play the Green Bay Packers
49ers tight end George Kittle is one of the best players at his position in the NFL today, and arguably in the history of the league. An eight-year veteran, Kittle has been around for some fierce battle between Green Bay and San Francisco, and he does not plan on missing another one.
Speaking to the media after practice on Wednesday, Kittle said,
“I will be playing on Sunday. Very excited, can’t pass up playing the Packers. I will be out there for sure.”

The five-time Pro Bowl tight end has 43 receptions (on 53 targets, 560 yards, and seven touchdowns this season. He has only played in eight of San Francisco’s 10 games, and was inactive last week when they played the Seattle Seahawks due to a hamstring injury.
