Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has more than his fair share of detractors. The fact that the offense has lost five of the six competition periods during training camp has not helped much. Still, Love has, according to multiple reporters, had one day in which he looked better than ever since being drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Still, there are many that are ready to label Love a bust and criticize the Packers for moving on from Aaron Rodgers. The one leading that charge is NFL analyst Adam Schein, who is also a die-hard Chicago Bears fan. Earlier on Friday, he said the following about Love and the Packers:
“Jordan Love can’t play football.”@AdamSchein says it is a debacle in Green Bay 👀 pic.twitter.com/VDi9hbnGB2

Some key points from Schein’s segment:
- “Jordan Love can’t play football.
- “I loath Love, despise Love.”
- “Jordan Love can’t do a d— thing!”
It was a highly opinionated rant with little-to-no actual analysis, and it got Love’s teammate, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, heated.
Green Bay Packers Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell Defends Jordan Love

Packers inside linebacker De’Vondre Campbell is probably one of the best teammates out there. When he saw Schein’s post, he absolutely went off on the reporter:
Ain’t no way you just got on here with that baggy ass Steve Harvey suit and them thick ass dollar tree glasses and disrespected my QB by saying he can’t play football. He only has one career start let him play at least half a season before you open your big dumb ass mouth https://t.co/ckwcbYc3qO

Right before training camp began, Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy stated that it would take the team about eight games until they knew what they had in Love as a long-term starting quarterback.
Love’s former teammate, Kurt Benkert, also had some strong words for Schein:
When you’re irrelevant like @adamschein you have to talk louder to make people believe the wack shit you say. https://t.co/kQjnpk28Ja

Strong words for a strong opinion.
Hopefully, Love and the Packers perform well in Week One (and Week 18) against Schein’s Bears.
