Adam Schefter had breaking news today that sent shockwaves through the NFL. In an article today, Schefter reported that the Packers may not only be interested in trading Aaron Rodgers, but they could prefer it.
NFL World Reacts To Adam Schefter’s Bombshell Report Regarding Aaron Rodgers
Today Adam Schefter wrote:
League sources believe the franchise prefers to move on from Rodgers, just as it once did with Brett Favre. Those sources also believe that Rodgers is well aware of the Packers’ feelings on the situation.
Rodgers said during an interview this past week with “The Pat McAfee Show” that he is “open to all honest and direct conversations” with the Packers and that a trade “wouldn’t offend me, and it wouldn’t make me feel like a victim.” Rodgers later went on say: “They drafted my replacement, and if I didn’t win two COVID MVPs, this conversation probably would’ve happened earlier,” Rodgers said during the interview Tuesday. “But in a year where I’m not going to win MVP, it allows for all the different conjectures of if Jordan is ready and if it’s time to move on.”
Until we hear from Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, this is all hearsay. This will be the second straight off-season where Adam Schefter reported the future of Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay is up in the air. Either way, social media went into a frenzy when Schefter reported this news:
Jordan Love wasn’t in “mop up” action. He was put in after Rodgers had a rib injury. Packers only lost by 7. He played very well.

Is It Jordan Love Time?
Former Packers full back, John Kuhn, made an interesting point on his show, “Nine 2 Noon,” this past week. He reminded his co-hosts and fans that when the Packers made the decision to move on from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers, the team had just lost the NFC Championship Game at home in overtime. They were, by all accounts, a really good team. This year’s team, however, was 8-9 and missed the playoffs. If there was ever a time to move on, he argues it makes sense for it to be now.
Jordan Love, of course, played very well this past season. This was most noticeable in the Packers’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Rodgers had to leave the game due to a rib injury and was replaced by the former first round draft pick. In that game, Love completed six of nine passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.

The next time Adam Schefter comes to Green Bay to cover the Packers when he goes to dinner I hope the restaurant charges him $100 for a $25 dollar steak. How’s that for what think about his scoops.
