NBA rumors: There are still more than a few available free agents out there and the Milwaukee Bucks are one of the teams that are still looking to fill out their roster ahead of the upcoming season. It appears that Milwaukee is looking to add more depth to their frontcourt as they are now being linked to a former first-round pick that has been out of the league for the past couple of years.
NBA Rumors: Bucks Have Interest In Former First-Round Pick Harry Giles

According to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Bucks are one of five teams who have shown interest in 6-foot-11 big man Harry Giles. Along with the Detroit Pistons, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the New York Knicks, Milwaukee is reportedly one of five teams that watched Giles’ recent workout in Las Vegas.
The last we saw Giles in the NBA was during the 2020-21 season with the Portland Trail Blazers. In 38 games played that year, the former Duke standout averaged just 2.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per contest. Giles signed with the Los Angeles Clippers the following summer, but he was subsequently waived even before the season started.
Currently, Giles is still just 25 and he could still bring some value to a team like Milwaukee. He’s obviously no star, but he has NBA experience under his belt, which could prove valuable in his quest for a comeback.
NBA Rumors: Bucks Have One Final Roster Spot Open

As of writing, the Bucks still have one final roster spot to fill before the season starts. It is also very much possible, however, that Milwaukee opts to keep that 15th roster spot open entering the new campaign.
Harry Giles could be an option for them if they’re looking to add even more depth to their frontcourt. Brook Lopez is going to be their starting center in 2023-24 and his brother, Robin Lopez, as well as Bobby Portis are expected to be his primary backups. Portis plays power forward as well so it wouldn’t hurt having another center in the rotation.
