The Chicago Bears signed a veteran quarterback a day after releasing him as drama continues to plague the 0-2 team ahead of their Week 3 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Green Bay Packers fans went on social media to mock the Bears as their week continues to spiral.
Justin Fields thinks he’s being coached too much
Quarterback Justin Fields said coaching had to do with his robotic play to start the season. Evidently, someone didn’t like that at Halas Hall because instead of having someone from the organization address defensive coordinator Alan Williams’ rumors, Fields clarified his comments and took the blame for his shortcomings.
Then the Bears released Nathan Peterman, who was the team’s QB2 on the depth chart.
That move lasted a handful of hours before Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network reported the Bears re-signed Nathan Peterman to the 53-man roster.
