At this point in the campaign, there’s no denying that the Milwaukee Bucks have made significant strides from their early-season struggles. The fact that they currently stand at 24-9 and second in the Eastern Conference is a clear testament to the same.
At the same time, however, the Bucks are still doing everything they can to improve their current roster. Apparently, this includes the prospect of potentially bringing in some reinforcements via free agency.
REPORT: Milwaukee Bucks Held ‘Veteran Workout’
According to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Bucks could be on the verge of signing a veteran to their squad in the near future:
“Milwaukee held a veteran workout Monday, league sources told Yahoo Sports, for what seems like potential two-way candidates,” Fischer reported.
It is important to note that per Fischer, the potential roster addition is likely to come in the form of a two-way contract. This means that this new player will likely spend most of his time with the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G League as he awaits a potential call-up to the Bucks.
Unfortunately, the players who recently worked out for the Bucks were not named.
Currently, Milwaukee has three players on two-way deals. They are Marques Bolden, TyTy Washington Jr., and Lindell Wigginton. This means that if the team decides to bring in a new player on a two-way contract, it is likely that they will need to part ways with at least one of the players listed above.
