The Milwaukee Bucks plan to bolster their frontcourt depth before the trade deadline, and they reportedly have registered their interest in New York Knicks center Jericho Sims.

Head coach Doc Rivers has mostly relied on Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez, and Bobby Portis to man the frontcourt this season. Adding someone like Sims is not a bad idea because of his cheap contract and huge upside.
Sims is in the final year of his three-year, $5.6 million contract with the New York Knicks. The 26-year-old center is making roughly $2.1 million this season.

NBA insider reveals the other teams who are also interested in Jericho Sims besides the Milwaukee Bucks
Earlier this season, the Milwaukee Bucks were scouring the market for a “lob threat” that could complement their current frontcourt, so it makes sense that Jericho Sims is thrown into the mix. However, the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t the only team interested in the former no. 58 overall pick, per HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.

“New York Knicks center Jericho Sims has drawn interest on the trade market from teams, including the Lakers, Clippers, and Bucks, league sources told HoopsHype,” Scotto wrote in his column.
Sims averages 1.7 points and 3.4 rebounds on 60.9 percent shooting from the field in 11.1 minutes per game across 38 appearances (five starts) this season.
