It’s official. Gary Trent Jr. is now a member of the Milwaukee Bucks.
This is after the 6-foot-5 guard/forward officially put pen to paper on a one-year deal. This move allows Trent to reunite with former Portland Trail Blazers teammate Damian Lillard, who himself has shared his reaction to the opportunity to run it back with the 25-year-old.

Trent was all smiles as he thanked the organization for the opportunity to represent the squad and help them with their quest for a championship this coming season.
For his part, it is clear that Lillard is excited to link up with Trent again. The eight-time All-Star took to Instagram to share his two-emoji reaction now that Trent’s signing has become official.

Lillard served as Trent’s veteran during their time together in Portland. Trent spent just two and a half seasons with the Blazers before he was traded to the Toronto Raptors, where he spent the last four years. Despite their relatively brief stint as teammates, Lillard and Trent formed quite a bond both on and off the court — one that they’re now hoping will impact the Bucks significantly in 2024-25.
