Although his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks wasn’t what he expected, All-Star guard Damian Lillard still has every reason to look at life through a positive lens. This can be seen in a how the former Portland Trail Blazers’ franchise player celebrated his 34th birthday with family and friends.
Lillard was selected sixth overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2012 NBA Draft. He won the NBA Rookie of the Year award in the 2012-13 season. Over the next several seasons with the Trail Blazers, Lillard emerged as an elite point guard, making seven All-Star teams and seven All-NBA teams, including an All-NBA First Team selection in 2018.
Lillard led the Trail Blazers to playoff appearances in seven of his 11 seasons with the team, including a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2019. He established himself as one of the league’s most clutch performers, hitting numerous game-winning shots. Lillard also won the NBA Three-Point Contest in 2023 and 2024.
After requesting a trade in 2023, the All-Star guard was dealt to the Bucks in a deal that sent two-time NBA champion Jrue Holiday to Portland. As such, Lillard experienced hardships in his first season with Milwaukee, including adjusting to a new situation and dealing with a divorce.

Just recently, Lillard celebrated his 34th birthday with his kids, family, and friends. As seen in a video he shared on his official Instagram account, the Bucks’ point guard was definitely in high spirits with his loved ones.

Outside of the court, Lillard is known for his philanthropic efforts in Portland and Milwaukee, along with having a music career and a passion for boxing. On the court, Dame Time is a dynamic guard who can score at all three levels of the court, as seen in his career averages of 25.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.7 assists.
Even after a mediocre run last season, Lillard is still at the top of his game when it comes to his personal life. As evidenced by the point guard’s recent birthday, there’s little more he can want.
