The Milwaukee Bucks won and celebrated their NBA Cup win last Tuesday in Las Vegas, and Mariah Antetokounmpo joined in spirit to celebrate her husband’s latest achievement.
Mariah Antetokounmpo took to social media to express her appreciation for her husband by calling him “ONE of ONE” in her Instagram story.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did his part to guide the Milwaukee Bucks to win their first-ever NBA Cup trophy, as he dropped 26 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, and two blocks on 10-for-17 shooting from the field. Co-star Damian Lillard followed suit by adding 23 points, four rebounds, four assists, and five three-pointers on 6-for-12 shooting from the field.
The Milwaukee Bucks players on standard contracts will receive a $514,971 bonus, and those on two-way deals get half of it. The prize may not mean much to Giannis Antetokounmpo, but it is for the lower-paid players in the team.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo jokes about “losing all of his money” after NBA Cup triumph
Giannis Antetokounmpo already knows what to do with the $514,971 prize. The Greek Freak joked that the money he had won was already gone since he’d used it to provide for the needs of his growing family.
“I just got married,” Antetokounmpo said in the postgame press conference. “My wife is a little bit needy, so I might have to get a gift, it’s Christmas. I have also three kids. I gotta go Christmas shopping and have a kid on the way. Diapers are expensive, so the money is already gone.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo married Mariah Riddlesprigger on September 1, 2024, and they have three kids together as of this writing.
