Kyle Kuzma did not have an ideal individual playoffs performance last season and many point it out as one of the main reasons why the Milwaukee Bucks came up short and got eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in the first round.

The series was his first return to the playoffs since signing with the Washington Wizards in 2021 and he definitely had one of the worst performances ever by a player in the playoffs.
He had 0 point in Game 1 and averaged just 5.8 points throughout the series. This is a terrible turnout because of the fact that he was traded in exchange for Khris Middleton who was a consistent playoffs riser for the Bucks.
Middleton was the team’s second best scorer before the arrival of Damian Lillard. He was also the team’s best player in 2024 playoffs when they were without Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Kyle Kuzma says he’s going back to the basic
Kuzma launched his own Youtube channel and posted his first video on Wednesday and there, he touched on the topic regarding his playoff performance.
He said the loss left a bad taste in their mouth since they had expectations heading to the series.
“Coming over, I think we had hopes. Fell a little short,” he said.
As for himself, he thought he could have given more.

“I didn’t play how I wanted to play. This offseason, it’s just like get to the fundamentals, getting back to the basic, being able to have a healthy summer, which I really didn’t have last summer, which I’m excited to attack.”
He then stated that he is ready to redeem himself after a down postseason.
