Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo can get pretty unserious, and he showed that again recently when he talked about the hand he hurt during a game against the Toronto Raptors. While speaking with reporters in the locker room, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player jokingly said that his relationship with his wife remains great despite his banged-up hand.
“I got some stitches in my finger,” Antetokounmpo said (h/t the Bucks’ official X account). “I told my wife. My wife’s still with me. She still likes me.”

Another comment read: “How to tell someone not to take basketball so serious without telling them not to take basketball so serious. Count your blessings.”
Via a different commenter: “i bust out laughing and almost choked on my very hot coffee and would have had to sue the team for tickets to Wednesday’s game”

Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo looked fine in win vs. San Antonio Spurs
If his humor didn’t give it away, Antetokounmpo’s performance in Wednesday’s 121-105 win against the San Antonio Spurs surely removed any concerns about his hand. Antetokounmpo lit up the Spurs for 25 points to go with 16 boards and eight assists while shooting 11-for-21 from the field in 36 minutes of action.
On the season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists while shooting 59.9 percent from the field.
