The Milwaukee Bucks made a trade on Wednesday that sent Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma. Middleton was one of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s best friends, and they have been on the team since the 2013-2014 season.

There is a chance that the Bucks could make more trades before the deadline. Milwaukee has a 26-22 record this season in the Eastern Conference. It will be interesting to see what other moves they make.
YouTuber SROS Created a Mock Trade That Would Send Giannis Antetokounmpo From the Milwaukee Bucks To the Houston Rockets

Everyone the other day had a major reaction to when the Dallas Mavericks traded away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis and other pieces. Well, many people around the league know that they are not safe moving forward.
YouTuber SROS created a crazy mock trade between the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks. Houston would acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo in this deal and Milwaukee would get back Dillon Brooks, Jabari Smith Jr., Amen Thompson, a 2027 Rockets-Nets pick swap, a 2029 Suns or Mavericks first-round pick, and a 2031 Rockets first-round pick. This would be a crazy trade for both teams.
The Houston Rockets this season are 32-18. Matt John of the sportingnews.com said about this crazy trade proposal:
“The Rockets have been one of the best teams in the league this year, having had their best season since the James Harden days. Houston is the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference at 32-18, and much of it is because their young talent has come into their own.
Thompson, in particular, has really risen through the ranks this year. He’s turned himself into one of the NBA’s most promising wings without question. He would be an excellent centerpiece in a deal featuring Antetokounmpo.
Acquiring Antetokounmpo would signal that teams across the league should take their title aspirations very seriously. Houston’s draft capital and youngsters mentioned above are strong enough to entice Milwaukee to make a deal.
However, the Bucks aren’t in a place where Antetkounmpo is on the table. For now, at least. Their moves have signaled that an Antetokounmpo trade won’t happen for some time. If it does, Houston may be their first call.
Knowing what the two-time MVP has done for them, it may sound ridiculous that Milwaukee would even consider this, but anything is possible after the Luka Doncic trade.”
The Rockets may not want to part with any of the young core players yet. Thompson is 22 years old. He is averaging 13.7 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 3.1 APG, and also shooting 54.4% from the field this season for Houston. There is no doubt that Amen Thompson could be the future star for the Rockets, but if they were to trade him for Giannis Antetokounmpo, it would be too soon.
Could Revisit In Offseason

The best idea for both franchises is to revisit a trade this offseason. The Rockets should see how well they do in the playoffs in 2025 before making a move for a bigger star in the future.
As for the Bucks, they need to do what is best around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard for the remainder of the 2025 season. If Milwaukee is another first-round exit, then the Antetokounmpo trade rumors will ramp up once again this NBA offseason.
