The Milwaukee Bucks are 40-33 following their 116-107 loss to the New York Knicks at home on Friday night. The loss was their third in a row and seventh in their last 11 games. With nine games remaining, they are the sixth seed in the NBA Eastern Conference and are a game-and-a-half back for the Detroit Pistons for fifth.
Indeed, this season has not gone the way that Bucks fans, players, and coaches probably thought it would. Milwaukee got off to a 2-8 start that included an early six-game losing streak. And while they were able to claw their way back and are in the NBA Playoff picture, they are not the dominant team many believed they could, or should, be.
And a lot of the blame for this has fallen on head coach Doc Rivers, whom fans would like to see replaced by a different coach who was recently fired.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans Want to See Doc Rivers Replaced by Taylor Jenkins

Earlier this week, the Memphis Grizzlies, who are 44-29 and fifth in the NBA Western Conference, fired their head coach, Taylor Jenkins. The news came on the heels of reports that Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant was not happy with Jenkins or the offensive system.
A former Bucks assistant in 2018-19, Jenkins had been the head coach in Memphis since the 2019-2020 season and has a career record of 250-214. He led the Grizzlies to the NBA Playoffs three times, and would have a fourth time had he not been fired this week.
Now that he is available, many Bucks fans would like to see him return to Milwaukee:

To be clear I think there is a 0% chance the Bucks would hire Taylor Jenkins anytime before this offseason and a pretty low chance it’d happen then either. But he’s proven he can consistently win and develop players and I’d be happy if they did hire him.

Unfortunately, the head coaching situation in Milwaukee has not been great for a few years now. Last year, of course, Rivers was hired after the firing of first-year head coach Adrian Griffin, who had a record of 30-13 when he was let go.
Griffin, of course, was hired to replace Mike Budenholzer who was let go after another early exit in the NBA Playoffs.
And based on how things are going in Milwaukee right now, it does seem possible that they could be looking for another head coach this offseason.
