The Milwaukee Bucks are throwing it back to their exciting years when they were still rising to the top of the league by announcing that they are going to feature a fan-loved special jersey.
The team confirmed that cream-colored jerseys are returning for the 2025-26 season, something they said they are doing to heed the call made by fans. This jersey was first used in the 2017-2018 season.

The Cream City jersey lasted for just one season and was replaced by new ones. The last city jersey was a blue one that references Great Lakes Blue, one of the three primary colors assigned to the team. The other two are Good Land Green and Cream City Cream.
Fans celebrate this move.

Milwaukee Bucks and Cream City origin
Green is the color associated to the Bucks throughout its history. So what is Cream City referencing?
This colorway is based on the city’s history of light-colored, yellowish bricks — dubbed cream city bricks – it was producing a century ago. The industry already died already but the term stuck with many local businesses.
“It’s still part of the active identity of Milwaukee,” said John Gurda, Milwaukee historian.
It is part of city’s identity. Why was it banned? Due to advertising reasons according to Dustin Godsey, the Bucks’ chief sales and marketing officer.

It was rendered unusable because it does not match the green-screen technology for digital advertising during broadcasts.
The glitch has been fixed and Cream City jersey is officially back.
As just revealed by @dgodz on the Bucks Radio Network, the glitch has been fixed. Cream colored jerseys are no longer banned…
