In 2017, the NBA and Nike developed a uniform concept. This concept has become known as the popular City Edition uniforms. These uniforms are meant to breathe a fresh new perspective into each teams look on the court. These uniforms not only look fresh but they also tell a story or pay tribute to the city and culture.
The Bucks Old Jerseys
Over the past few seasons, what did these city edition jerseys mean? Last season, the Bucks donned the all blue city edition jerseys. The three different shades of blue represented the three local rivers that flow into Lake Michigan. The Cream City jerseys in 2019-20 paid homage to the cream/yellowish bricks that were present in many buildings architecture. In 2018-19 Milwaukee had yellow jerseys with a red pec/shoulder area. This uniform showed love to the Mecca. The Mecca was when the Bucks had their most success as a franchise, until this last season.

The New Jersey
The new City Edition uniform mixes the current color scheme along with purple dating back to the early 2000s. The waistband of the shorts is a remixed logo dating back to 1971. This was a time when Kareem was making skyhooks and Oscar Robertson was a walking triple double. Here is a look at the uniform itself.
