The Milwaukee Bucks resume their 2024-25 NBA campaign with a game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Fiserv Forum, and the pregame odds back them to win since the visitors will miss one of their star players.
According to Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian, the Portland Trail Blazers will miss Jerami Grant for the third consecutive game due to a facial contusion he suffered against the Dallas Mavericks last Saturday, in which he finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks on 4-for-9 shooting in 42 minutes.
Since Grant was out, the Portland Trail Blazers suffered back-to-back losses against the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. Deni Avdija has been starting in Grant’s place in those games and will likely do the same against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Portland Trail Blazers have one of the worst records in the league at 11-22, good for 13th in the Western Conference. On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks are fifth in the Eastern Conference at 17-15.
