Milwaukee Brewers recovered from a disastrous first month and are now the best team in the league by far. They entered the season missing some key players and now, it is as if everyone fits perfectly to the system. Sal Frelick is sending the spotlight to the front office for the way they have structured the squad.

The club cruised to a 14-0 victory on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates led by Paul Skenes. It was Christian Yelich and Isaac Collins who stood out in the first game of the series and this time, it was Frelick, William Contreras, Brice Turang, and Joey Ortiz who delivered them to their 11th straight victory.
In other nights, there is Caleb Durbin and Andrew Vaughn. The pitching crew, led by Freddy Peralta, also just can’t miss.
Manager Pat Murphy credited a week ago his players for their sensational run saying they are hungry to prove themselves and giving them the drive to be the best.
For Frelick, the front office should also be commended.

“It’s fun,” Frelick told reporters after the game.
“I think a lot of the guys in this room, and it’s a credit to the front office and ‘Murph’ [manager Pat Murphy] and [associate manager] Rickie [Weeks], they understand the type of player it takes to play in this offense and on this team.”
Sal Frelick says it is the little things
“We’re not trying to ever play safe. We just want to go for it, and I think they kind of bought in.”
This is what Murphy said a week ago about his team’s brilliance. Everybody is ready to perform their role.
Frelick has the same observation. He thinks they are a no-quit team.

“It’s guys who take pride in baserunning and defense and pitching,” he said.
“It’s the little things more than the numbers you see on the board when a player goes to the plate. Guys don’t care if they go 0-for-4 and we win 10-0. Guys don’t care if they go 3-for-3 when we lose. That’s just not who this team is, and it’s really fun to be part of it.”
