All eyes on Jackson Chouriou in the coming season after his breakthrough performance in 2024 and his massive contract. If he struggle a bit, that should be natural according to his teammate Rhys Hoskins.

It is not because Chourio is only 20 years old but because Major League Baseball is not a smooth sailing type of league.
Talking to MLB.com, first baseman Hoskins said he was impressed by the way the young Venezuelan navigated the the long season.
“It’s an adjustment league, right,” he said.
“I think what was cool to see last year was him getting better as he went. As the league made adjustments, it seemed as if he was able to make those adjustments on the fly.”
Chourio can do that again as long as he stay healthy. This is important because the league and the challenges will ask him to adjust.

“As long as he stays healthy and continues to work the way he did throughout the end of last year, you’re going to see the talent come through,” Hoskins explained.
“He’ll struggle just because that’s how this league is. It’s the hardest league in the world. But if he keeps his head down, he’ll find his way out of that.”
High expectations for Jackson Chourio, Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers are predicted to outdo themselves in the coming season despite departure of Willy Adames.
With a great young core headlined by Chouriou and William Contreras plus Christian Yelich back from recovery, analysts believe they can go a long way in the postseason.

As for Chouriou, the young stud is getting his name up there with the best of the best.
MLB Network’s top 100 player list had him at No. 40, just one spot behind Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout.
Chourious said two days ago that his confidence is really high coming into the season. That is something Brewers fans should feel excited about.
That is something the league should watch out for.
