Although the Milwaukee Brewers were not able to go deep in the 2024 MLB postseason, they can take heart from the fact that they still managed to make it to the MLB playoffs in just the first year of Pat Murphy as their manager. Murphy guided the Brewers to a 93-92 record in 2024 — one game better than what the team had in Craig Counsell’s final season on the bench with them in 2023.
Murphy’s work in 2024 for the Brewers also earned him a National League Manager of the Year Award.

Former Brewers star pitcher CC Sabathia, who just got elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2025, reacted to Milwaukee’s Pat Murphy post with: “🔥🔥”
Murphy’s managerial skills will be put to the test once again in the 2025 MLB season, especially after Milwaukee lost some key players in the offseason, including the likes of closer Devin Williams and shortstop Willy Adames. However, the Brewers are not without great talents to help make Murphy’s job easier. Jackson Chourio, William Contreras and Christian Yelich are some of the names to watch out for in the coming season for Milwaukee, which has appeared in the playoffs in six of the last seven years.
