The Milwaukee Brewers are no strangers to elite prospects earning massive buzz before their big league debuts. In 2007, outfielder Ryan Braun entered the season as a fringe top-ten prospect before slugging 34 home runs, driving in 97 runs, and stealing 15 bases en route to winning the NL Rookie of the Year. Last season, Jackson Chourio, baseball’s top prospect not named Jackson Holliday, finished third in NL Rookie of the Year voting, smashing 21-round trippers while playing elite defense. Following an intense buzz surrounding their current top prospect, Milwaukee will again have a can’t-miss rookie breaking camp in the foreseeable future.

On Wednesday, Baseball America released their Top 100 Prospects of 2025, featuring four members of the Milwaukee Brewers. Most notably, Milwaukee houses a top-20 prospect, shortstop Jesus Made. An international signee in 2024, the Brewers inked the Dominican shortstop to a $950 thousand signing bonus. Made, a switch hitter, hit .331 with six home runs and 28 stolen bases in the Dominican Summer League last year. He also demonstrated versatility on defense, playing shortstop, third base, and second. Like Jackson Chourio and Yophery Rodriguez, Made’s performance in the DSL could springboard him on the fast track to the MLB level.
Unranked following his signing last year, the 17-year-old speedster is now the most notable player in a strong Milwaukee Brewers farm system. Made’s rise has Milwaukee fans ecstatic, with the youngster preparing to become the next Brew Crew member to make a massive impact at the top level sooner rather than later:

It’s not fair to compare Jesus Made to Chourio.
However, there’s too many similarities not to.
Chourio wasn’t in the Top 100 as a 18 yo. Made is #17 in BA Top 100.
Chourio 17 yo at DSL: 296/386/833
Made 17 yo at DSL: 331/458/1.012Made should start in Carolina. 👀 https://t.co/ph9Hyh6b3g

Brewers Have Deep Farm System
Alongside shortstop Jesus Made, the Brewers have three other Baseball America Top 100 members. Catcher Jeferson Quero and starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski are among the top 50 prospects per Baseball American. Quero is the most MLB-ready, reaching AAA-Nashville last season. Meanwhile, Misiorowski is also knocking at the MLB level, going 3-5 with a 3.33 ERA across 97.1 innings with AA-Biloxi and AAA-Nashville.
Also among the top prospects is fellow shortstop Cooper Pratt. A sixth-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, he owns a .781 OPS in 108 games. He played in high-A ball last season.
