The 20 year old has been on an absolute tear at the plate since the calendar switched to June and he is closing in on a 20/20 season. Most recently a 449 foot home run by him put him in elite company during the statcast era.

Both Dominic Cotroneo and Sarah Langs posted on X after Jackson Chourio’s home run indicating that he became just the fifth player during the statcast era to hit a home run that distance before their 21st birthday. The other players to do it were Ronald Acuna Jr, Carlos Correa, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, and Fernando Tatis Jr.
