Per the Milwaukee Brewers they have extended contracts to all but one of their arbitration eligible players. Reliever Hoby Milner was the lone player to be non-tendered. He will now enter free agency and can sign with any team.

After joining the Brewers on a minor league deal prior to the start of the 2021 season, Hoby Milner ended up having two incredible seasons with the team. After getting a little bit of big league action in 2021, Milner broke out in 2022 as he had a 3.76 ERA across 64.2 innings pitched and 67 appearances. He followed that up with a 1.82 ERA in 2023 across 73 games and 64.1 innings pitched.
Unfortunately, last year he struggled to the tune of a 4.73 ERA and the team moved on to other left-handed options like Bryan Hudson and Jared Koenig. Milner’s history of consistency wasn’t enough evidence for Milwaukee to tender him a contract for the 2025 season and he now can sign with any team.

Arbitration eligible players that were tendered a contract for the 2025 season include:
RhP Aaron Civale
RHP Devin Williams
RHP Joel Payamps
RHP Trevor Megill
RHP Nick Mears
C William Contreras
Catcher Eric Haase was also arbitration eligible, but he was able to come to terms with the Brewers on a contract for next year and thus avoided arbitration. His deal is worth $1.35 million plus incentives. Barring any other catcher acquisitions, Haase projects to start the year as the back up to William Contreras.
The Brewers can still trade players that were tendered contracts

Despite being tendered, the Brewers can still trade those players during the off-season. Devin Williams is one big trade candidate and Aaron Civale is right behind him. It will be interesting to see if Milwaukee can find trade partners for either of these players throughout the off-season.
