The 2025 MLB regular season has not yet begun and the Milwaukee Brewers are already dealing with injuries to players that they hoped would play significant roles this year. DL Hall, the left-handed starting pitcher they acquired in the Corbin Burnes trade, missed most of 2024 with injury and is currently on the 60-day IL with a lat injury. Aaron Ashby, who also missed most of last season, is currently in the midst of a two-week break due to an oblique injury.
And on Saturday, two more Brewers players suffered injuries that forced them to be removed from/scratched from Milwaukee’s spring training game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Milwaukee Brewers Starters Brice Turang and Tobias Myers Suffer Injuries on Saturday

Brice Turang, who it appears may be the Brewers new starting shortstop after winning a Gold Glove and Platinum Glove at second base last year, was supposed to play against Los Angeles on Saturday. However, he was scratched from the lineup before the game began.
It was later revealed that he has right shoulder fatigue and Milwaukee scratched him out of precaution. As of right now, he is not expected to miss any significant time.

Myers, who went 9-6 with a 3.00 ERA as a rookie last season, won Milwaukee’s Pitcher of the Year Award for 2024. As reported earlier today, he is currently slated to either start the Brewers’ third and final game of their opening series against the New York Yankees or their home opener against the Kansas City Royals.
