LOVB Madison is firing on all cylinders! On Thursday, March 13 they dominated Omaha to win their fourth straight match. This winning streak started against Omaha earlier in the month and has Madison trending in the right direction as the finals approach.
LOVB Madison defeated Omaha in four sets to win fourth straight match

In front of a very nice crowd at the Alliant Energy Center, LOVB Madison defeated Omaha 25-16, 25-17, 26-28, 25-16 during their final home match of the season. Annie Drews Schumacher and Sarah Franklin were ultra efficient at the net as Schumacher had a .500% hitting efficiency with 19 kills and Franklin .667% with 18 kills.
The great north wall put up eight blocks to Omaha’s three with Franklin, Claire Chausse, Taylor Sandbothe, and Lauren Carlini all having two each for Madison. Also worth mentioning was middle attacker Anna Hall, who had seven kills, with several of them punishing the floor and energizing the team as well as the crowd.
What’s next for LOVB Madison?

With this victory, Madison moved up two spots in the rankings. They previously were in last and now are fourth with a 5-7 record. LOVB Madison will play next Thursday, March 20 against Salt Lake, who is just ahead of them in the standings with a 5-6 record.
The finals will be played April 10-13 in Louisville. All teams are eligible for the tournament, but Madison is clearly starting to find it’s groove at the right time and is the hottest team in the league.
