Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft caught the attention of WWE legend Shawn Michaels last week when the second-year downfield weapon perfectly executed a “kip-up” near the sidelines after getting hit during a Thursday Night Football game against the Detroit Lions.
“10 💔 out of a possible 10 💔,” Michaels wrote in a post on X along with a reshare of the clip of Kraft’s athletic move.
Tucker surely saw the compliment from Michaels, as the former South Dakota State Jackrabbits star reposted it via his X account.
Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft is having a solid season in his second year in the NFL
Kraft’s catch helped conclude a Green Bay drive via a rushing score by running back Josh Jacobs. The 24-year-old Kraft finished the Lions game with 41 receiving yards and a touchdown on three receptions and five targets. On the season, Kraft has 521 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 39 receptions.
He has truly taken a big leap forward this season and should continue to see more opportunities downfield within the Packers’ attack that is seventh in the NFL overall with 26.8 points per game and 11th with 231.2 passing yards per contest.
Unfortunately for the Packers, they ended up losing to the Lions, 34-31. The defeat dropped Green Bay to 9-4 and further dimmed its chances of winning the NFC North division title, especially with the Minnesota Vikings also winning on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
Kraft and the Packers will look to get back to their winning ways in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
