The Packers saw a former tight end sign with a new team recently. However, it wasn’t with an NFL team. Former third-round pick Jace Sternberger has reportedly signed with a new team in a new league.
Tight End Jace Sternberger Signs With USFL Team
Former 2019 third-round draft pick Jace Sternberger has signed with the USFL team Birmingham Stallions. Throughout his time with the Packers, Sternberger only accumlated 12 receptions for 114 yards and one touchdown across three seasons. He was a good prospect coming out of college. In his last season with Texas A&M, Sternberger was named a first-team All-SEC selection, and received first-team All-American honors as well.
