Sports analyst Chris Broussard made some controversial accusations against Jordan Love on First Things First saying the Green Bay Packers quarterback ‘got a little full of himself’ and should get back in the lab to get better.
Good thing for Love, huge Packers fan and well-known rapper Lil Wayne was there to defend him.
The way Love ended his season is not exactly ideal and his activities for the offseason is being strictly closely monitored by Green Bay Packers fans, detractors, critics, and haters.
For Lil Wayne, his performance during the tail-end of the season and the playoffs is not that bad. He thinks Love is exactly where he should be.
“I didn’t feel like he took a step back. I feel like he’s where he’s supposed to be. Obviously I want him to be better than he is but I still think like he’s a young quarterback. I like where he is and I believe that next year will be better.”

First Things First co-host Nick Wright agreed with Wayne and pulled out some of Love’s numbers which he said were almost similar to that of last season.
The debate did not end there as Eric Mangini suggested that the Packers star QB could have elevated things up since he just signed a massive extension.
Jordan Love’s offseason activities
Right now, it is too early for Love to focus on the upcoming season since the training camp will only start by July.
He is busier these days for his upcoming wedding to fiancee Ronika Stone.

He is busy but he has been brief about the plans for the offseason and he knows that he can still improve.
Love believes the past seasons where he had a prominent role is helping him improve his read of the game.
“That’s a huge part of it. Every rep you get, you see, you learn, and you grow. The game’s definitely slowed down so much since I entered the league. Hopefully, it keeps slowing down and I keep improving,” he said during an interview with RG.org.
