Green Bay Packers linebacker Quay Walker had an up-and-down 2024 NFL season. Despite having 102 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two pass deflections, many Packers fans did not like the way he performed at certain points during the 2024 season.

Walker in 2025 will be entering his fourth-season. His club option for the 2026 season has not yet been picked up by the Packers. If it is picked up, Quay Walker will be a free agent after the 2026 season.
Cincinnati Bengals Suggested To Trade For Green Bay Packers Linebacker Quay Walker This Offseason

For the Bengals, the Bleacher Report Scouting Department suggested a trade between them and the Packers. They think Cincinnati should trade its fourth-round selection (118th overall pick) to Green Bay for linebacker Quay Walker. The Bleacher Report Scouting Department said:
“Linebackers don’t typically cost much in a trade. For the Packers, this would be more about getting a pick in return for a player they don’t intend to extend anyway. But the Bengals would be getting an exciting addition at a position where they need more athleticism alongside Logan Wilson.
Walker has struggled at times for Green Bay. He needs to clean up his tackling and he’s still refining his game, but the prospect of adding more length and athleticism to pair with Wilson could make this a better defense next season.”
There is no doubt that the Bengals will look to make some defensive moves this offseason. Walker is 24 years old and playing for Cincinnati next year could help. Edgerrin Cooper has emerged as the top linebacker for the Packers moving forward.
