Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs on Wednesday decided to call out the team about not having a true number one wide receiver. Jacobs knows that they need to find the main guy for the team next season.

There is no doubt that there will be changes in the position this offseason. Christian Watson will be sidelined most likely for most of the 2025 season with a torn ACL. Romeo Doubs could potentially be a trade piece for Green Bay this offseason.
Dairylandexpress.com Writer Brian Sampson Lists Tee Higgins As “Dream Target” For the Green Bay Packers This Offseason

Dairylandexpress.com writer Brian Sampson wrote about six potential dream targets for the Green Bay Packers this offseason to sign in free agency. One of the dream targets he listed was wide receiver Tee Higgins. Sampson said:
“I have no idea if this is realistic, but let’s be clear—Tee Higgins is the dream free-agent target for the Packers.
He’s not just the best wide receiver available this offseason. He’s arguably the best free agent, period. He checks every box Green Bay needs to fill: size, experience, hands, and the ability to create separation. And at 26, he still has his best football ahead of him.
The biggest question surrounding Higgins isn’t talent. It’s whether he can be a true WR1. He’s spent his entire career playing alongside Ja’Marr Chase, so he’s never had to carry the burden of being the guy in an offense. That’s a fair concern for a player who will likely command a contract north of $22-25 million per year. But for the Packers, that might not be a deal-breaker.
Green Bay wouldn’t be asking Higgins to do it alone. They already have a deep, talented (if inconsistent) group of young receivers. Adding Higgins to the mix wouldn’t just elevate the passing game—it would make life easier for Jordan Love by giving him a true go-to target in big moments.”
Tee Higgins a season ago with the Cincinnati Bengals caught 73 passes for 911 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns, along with averaging 12.5 yards per reception. He was also targeted 109 times. Higgins is also 26 years old. The Green Bay Packers would no doubt love him as the number-one wide receiver on the team.
Swung For the Fences Last Offseason

If the Green Bay Packers are serious about winning a Super Bowl next year with Jordan Love under center, general manager Brian Gutekunst will have to open up his pocketbook once again. They are going to have to spend some cash on Tee Higgins as they did with Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney.
Both were home runs and they need to make some more splashes this offseason. Green Bay was a good team last year but they need to be better next season. Tee Higgins is going to have major suitors in free agency.
